Mar 3, 2008
Steady amounts of light to moderate rain caused streams and creeks to slowly rise out of their banks across much of extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks. Widespread rainfall amounts from 3 March and 4 March ranged from one to four inches. The greatest rainfall totals occurred over Taney, Ozark, Douglas, and Howell counties where significant flooding of secondary roads caused several school districts to cancel school on 4 March.
