A heavy swath of rain, totaling up to 2-3 inches, fell across portions of the Cumberland Valley up towards the Hal Rogers Parkway this morning as widespread showers and thunderstorms moved through. Portions of Pulaski, Clay, Knox, and Laurel Counties experienced flooding and high water issues into the afternoon following the end of the heavier rainfall.
