Flash Flood — Caledonia, VT

On March 8th, a mild and very moist surface low that originated in the Gulf of Mexico moved across New England on the 8th. One to two inches of rain fell across the upper reaches of the Passumpsic River Valley in Vermont, as well as snow melt caused by temperatures in the 40s, which attributed to large run-off into area brooks, streams and rivers.
