Scattered rain showers, some of which were heavy developed across the Charlotte metro area and vicinity during the late afternoon and evening. Although rainfall associated with these showers was not heavy, generally only one half inch up to an inch, elevated stream flows resulting from heavy rainfall during the previous two days resulted in brief, minor flooding of some streams.
