On the afternoon of June 28th, a warm front was draped across central New Hampshire. A very moist air mass was in place as thunderstorms begin to develop along this frontal boundary. Storms continued to train across the same area along this boundary with very high rainfall rates, which led to localized flash flooding across Carroll County. In addition, a few thunderstorms resulted in hail.
