Severe thunderstorms developed with the heating of the day as a warm front lifted north across Nebraska. Previous days of rainfall resulted in an increased potential for flash flooding with a Flood Watch issued at 805 AM CST for portions of North Central and Southwest Nebraska. At 133 PM CST the Storms Prediction Center issued Tornado Watch number 384 that ran until 8 PM CST.
