With the help of an overnight storm complex in Oklahoma, a cold front was able to sag south and become stationary across the forecast area on Friday May 28. The front provided a focus for additional showers and storms, a few of which were either severe or produced heavy rain. The notable events from this episode was a large swath of damaging winds across part of Wise County and flooding in McLennan County.
