A warm front lifting north and an approaching shortwave trough combined to produce scattered showers and thunderstorms across northeast New Jersey during the late afternoon and early evening hours. These storms resulted in isolated reports of flash flooding in Essex, Passaic, and Bergen Counties. CoCoRaHS observations show a localized area of 1-3 inches of rain along the boarder of Passaic and Essex Counties, with reports of 1.69 inches 0.5 miles WNW of Little Falls Township, 1.95 inches 1.3 mil
