Scattered showers and thunderstorms persisted over the Coastal Bend into the coastal waters as an upper level disturbance interacted with deep moisture over the region. The showers and storms produced flooding in the Coastal Bend during the morning hours of the 1st. The flooding impacted travel with some roads closed due to the flooding.
