Flash Flood — San Patricio, TX

Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms lingered over the Coastal Bend on the morning of the 14th as an upper level disturbance interacted with deep tropical moisture over the region. Rainfall amounts averaged from 2 to 4 inches over the coastal plains with locally higher amounts up to 6 inches occurred over central San Patricio and western Refugio Counties. Heavy rainfall produced flooding in San Patricio and Nueces Counties.
