Heavy rain from a thunderstorm caused road washouts in Chesterville and New Sharon. Radar estimates in the area ranged from 3 to 4 inches. An observer in New Sharon reported 3.32 inches in just 2 hours.

An area of very slow moving showers and thunderstorms produced 3 to 5 inches of rain which caused small rivers and streams to flood in several towns across Cumberland County. Many roads were washed out.

A thunderstorms with heavy rainfall stalled over the communities of Peru, Jay, and Canton on the evening of the 25th. Radar estimates between 3 to 4.5 inches fell between 6 and 730 pm. The rain fell over saturated ground and hilly terrain.

A combination of 1.00 to 2.00 inches of rain and snow melt led to minor flooding along the Mattawamkeag River. The river reached flood stage during the late evening of the 14th. The river crested slightly less than a foot above flood stage during the late evening of the 16th.
