An outflow boundary from a large thunderstorm complex set off showers and thunderstorms over the Midsouth during the afternoon and evening hours of May 26, 2008. Some of the activity lingered into the morning hours of May 27th. The storms produced damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding.
