Around 0200E, convection refired in eastern Kentucky, just ahead of a slow moving cold front that was sinking south. The small cluster of showers and thunderstorms trained along the Greenup and Boyd County line. The heaviest rain fell on the Greenup County side of the border. The ground was already saturated from previous days of rain.
