Localized heavy rain fell with showers and thunderstorms near a frontal boundary. Rain estimates of 2 to 3 inches fell over southeastern Vinton County between Radcliff and Minerton. The storms pulsed briefly to severe limits in Jackson County.||The heat and low level moisture helped trigger more thunderstorms across portions of southeast Ohio during the evening of the 15th.
