Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms moved through southern Ohio from Friday the 22nd into Sunday the 24th. The heaviest rains brushed Greenup County in northeast Kentucky. A spotter in South Shore reported 3.5 inches of rain in about 36 hours, ending on the evening of the 23rd. Luckily, the heaviest rains fell near the Ohio River, limiting the small stream flooding in northeast Kentucky. Warnock, for example had a 2 day total of 3.08 inches.
