A flash flood occurred on Bear Creek on the north face of East Spanish Peak. The flood waters moved through the Spanish Peaks Scout Ranch. The evacuation of 96 people was accomplished through the flood waters. A cabin and maintenance building were flooded. No one was seriously injured.
