Nearly 2 inches of rain fell in less than an hour in the Evansville vicinity. This caused flooding of roads, small streams, and basements. A few county roads were washed out in spots. Many roads and streets, including parts of the Lloyd Expressway, had to be closed at times. High water caused two of the three runways at Evansville Regional Airport to be closed.
