May 25, 1997

The Blanchard river at Findlay exceeded its flood stage of 11.0 feet and crested at 13.7 feet at 0535 EST on 05/26/97. Flooding occurred on County Highway 140 and East Main Cross Street. Riverside Park experienced flooding as did the sewage plant. There was also flooding of the downtown area and residences near Eagle and Lyle Creeks.
