Severe thunderstorms developed across far west Texas during the early morning hours of May 25th and this cluster of severe thunderstorms evolved into a derecho, moving eastward across the entire state of Texas and eventually into Northeast Texas, Southeast Oklahoma, Southwest Arkansas and Northwest Louisiana. Widespread wind damage was reported across the region during the afternoon and evening hours with flash flooding reported across portions of the region as well.
