A very active weather pattern resulted in a high number of severe weather reports across West Central Texas from May 26 through the 28th. Upper level disturbances, rotating around a large upper level low pressure system over the western U.S., would periodically move across West Central Texas. These disturbances interacted with a dryline, outflow boundaries and a very unstable airmass, resulting in many reports of large hail, damaging winds and flash flooding.
