Persistent, slow-moving thunderstorms dumped very heavy rain during the night of the 11th through mid-morning on the 12th. Including the storms on the 10th, the rainfall at Hazleton was measured at just over 10 inches by a former NWS co-op observer there. The storms on the night of the 11th were aided by a weak upper level disturbance that tracked from south central Illinois across southwest Indiana.
