Broken lines of thunderstorms moved southeast across southwest Indiana during the heat of the afternoon. The storms occurred ahead of a cold front that extended from central Illinois to west central Missouri. Precipitable water values ranged from 1.5 to 1.9 inches, which resulted in locally heavy downpours and isolated flooding.
