Brief flash flooding countywide resulted from rainfall of between 2 and 3 inches in 2 hours. Near 2230CST, a man and his wife were traveling back home after an evening's trip. The couple were nearing their home as they encountered a flooded creek close to Medina.

Rainfall of generally 2 to 3 inches fell over the four counties, with isolated totals to near 5 inches. Widespread flash flooding was reported. Some 90 residents of a mobile home park in Austin were evacuated as Walnut Creek flooded the area.
