On the afternoon of May 26, 2017, a lone supercell moved across the southern portions of Yuma County and the far northeastern corner of Kit Carson County in eastern Colorado. This cell produced several brief tornadoes as well as hail up to 1.25 inches in diameter. The supercell formed ahead of a theta-e axis that moved from northwest to southeast late in the afternoon.
