A warm front lifted north into Eastern Oklahoma and Central Arkansas during the morning hours of February 24th, resulting in a large warm and humid air mass across the Ark-La-Tex region. Meanwhile, showers and thunderstorms increased across North Texas during the morning as well, ahead of a strong upper trough that ejected east across the Southern Plains and Mississippi Valley.
