A Flash Flood Watch was issued for the Sangre de Cristo range, Spanish Peaks, and the Rato Mesa on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, including the highly susceptible Spring burn scar. Deep, moist upslope flow over the area brought the possibility of locally heavy rain at times over and near the eastern mountains.
